Shankar Venkat is an energetic business leader who has been at the forefront of the Information Technology industry across the Asia Pacific region for over 30 years. Based in Sydney, Australia, Shankar has been actively engaged in consulting for small and mid-size organisations in the USA, Australia and India; specifically around digital transformation initiatives involving Cloud, Mobile, eCommerce, eLearning, AI, Chat Bots and Enterprise Applications among other technologies.

Having worked in IT Consulting, Project Management, Channel Development, Sales, Marketing and Business Development roles with Oracle Asia-Pacific for nearly 20 years, Shankar has vast experience and a wealth of knowledge in the digital business environment.

Accomplished in the fields of Solutions Marketing, Enterprise Solution Sales, Channel Management and Project Management, Shankar is passionate about driving change through digital technology to better our lives and better serve our customers. Shankar is helping organisations – large, medium and small – with their digital transformation strategies and initiatives, creating meaningful adoption of new technologies such as Cloud, AI, Machine Learning and Chat Bots. Additionally, Shankar has played a prominent role in advising on managed IT Services, In-House IT Management versus Out-Sourcing/Off-Shoring, Cost/Benefit Analysis of IT Strategy and so on.

Shankar has delivered numerous presentations in various Industry forums and seminars in many countries.

When he’s not working on helping his clients become more successful, you’ll find Shankar hitting balls on the tennis court or sinking putts on the golf course.

Shankar is also actively involved in social welfare organisations and does voluntary work at the Hindu Temple in Helensburgh.
